Which regions are included in the "South West"?

There are no fixed borders. You'll get the best value if you're connected to Rhineland-Palatinate or its neighbouring regions. This includes parts of North Rine-Westphalia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France.

Why do I need to apply for the community?

The StartupSW community is all about our dedicated and supportive members. We are very happy and open to invite new members. Yet, they should share similar values, especially a #givefirst mentality.

Who is a perfect fit for the community?

If we can bake a new member, he or she is a startup founder with an existing product and funding from the South West. More experienced founders tend to both enjoy and support the community most. Yet, most important is a #givefirst mentaility.

Can I join if I'm not a startup founder?

StartupSW is a community for the entire startup ecosystem. This includes corporate innovators, institutions, business angels, VCs and the like. So please apply and we will find a valuable place for you in our community.

How much does it cost to join StartuSW?

Access to the community is free for founders. StartupSW is a project by and for the startup ecosystem. Yet, to maintain StartupSW in the long run, we will need to cover our operating costs at some point. For example, we may attract support from established companies and institutions. Or we may expand our community offering.
